Yacht Delivery
North Star Yacht Delivery prides itself on providing the highest level of service as standard, whether it’s delivering the family cruiser or a luxury yacht. We ensure only highly qualified and vetted crews are used, providing a minimum of two MCA/RYA qualified skippers for every vessel. As delivery specialists, we provide a comprehensive pre-delivery survey, as the safety of our crew and your vessel are our number one priority.

We ensure the vessel, and its equipment, are fit for the passage before putting to sea, and can provided advice and assistance in rectifying any issues quickly and effectively. To further support deliveries we have 24hr shore side support providing weather routing, logistics and engineering advice/assistance. Due to the wealth of knowledge and experience of our skippers and crews we are proud to be able to offer our services for everything from sailing yachts and motors boats to larger yachts and commercial vessels, up to 500gt, anywhere in the world.

Helping Hands
We can provide qualified crew and skippers to come aboard your vessel to lend a helping hand if you are short crewed or want the support and piece of mind of having professional yacht delivery crew onboard, this can also be tailored for those wishing to use the experience to learn, with our professional team happy to share their knowledge and skills.

Own Boat Tuition
Sometimes we all need some advice and guidance, our friendly and professional skippers are here to help. If you require some own boat tuition to scrub up on some skills or to familiarise yourself with a new vessel then we can match you with a suitably experienced skipper. Many of our skippers are RYA Instructors able to help you on your way.
Builders and Brokers
The team at North Star have extensive knowledge working with brokers and builders around the world and can provide advice and assistance for new or new to you yachts, from collecting a vessel on your behalf, providing a thorough inspection ensuring it meets expectation, to simply delivering the vessel to your home berth or joining you for vessel handovers and sea trails.
Delivery Preparation
Not all vessels are set up for long distance sailing, and others may need some updates and preparation. Our expert team can provide a range of advice and skills to get your vessel up to standard, whether it be for a delivery we are undertaking on your behalf or to ensure you are ready for that dream trip.
We have extensive knowledge in vessels of all types with a plethora of industry contacts and would gladly advise and work with you to get the most out of your vessel.
Shipping
It’s not always feasible to deliver a vessel under its own steam alone, due to limited range of fuel and water capacity, vessel size and ability or simply for economic reasons.
Shipping is commonly used for vessels of all classes for long passages, and for the uninitiated this can be both stressful and a bit of a warren, with a variety of logistical options available.
Our team has contacts internationally with existing relationships within the industry, therefore we are able to take the stress out of shipping by arranging and managing the process for you.
